You said that I was the one who was gonna make you proud, with the attitude that I was letting you down. All I wanted was a little support. Instead of rubbing my face in the dirt. Can't you see this is killing me. So long, I'm sorry, I never wanted to be so far away from you. But now I've grown up and I've moved on. Don't be waiting by the phone, because I probably won't be calling home today. On and on with the same dumb questions everyday. Don't you care about whats important to me in my life, important to me everyday. Now I'm standing at the door just like one thousand times before. I don't know if I want to go in. I've made some mistakes in my life but this time I've gotta get it right. I don't know if I want to go home.
